can anyone remember when new updates and itunes...

can anyone remember when apple released an update to mac os x for example mac os x 10.6.3 - 10.6.4 it used to add new features instead of bug fixes.

or a new release of itunes brought with it a new colour dock icon.

i miss those days brought a sense of excitement in the former and a nice change to the latter.

just curious if anyone else misses things like that?

I don't think a point release ever brought new features to an OS, just bug fixes.

There was a feature added early in the point releases of Leopard (transluscent menu bar or not, I think), and there may have been some tweaks to Spaces or Expose', but I can't remember.
