Can anyone tell me the difference...?

Hi everyone, first time poster here. I've been holding out for a while to get a Macbook Pro (still somehow using my 2006 white Macbook) but like many people I am little underwhelmed by the recent announcement and prices.

I'm just curious now- can anyone tell me what the difference is between last years rMBP compared to the bottom spec £1,249 Macbook Pro? As far as I can see they're the same machine...

cwosigns isn't that a comparison between the 2015 model and the 2016 only 2 ports model? I'm questioning what the difference between the 2015 model and the equivalent model with all the ports they are still selling now is. As far as I can see it's just a price hike for no reason?

Hence why so many people are completely flabbergasted at Apple.

Don't forget the Brexit tax being added to the price.

Apple added 20% to correct for that.
