Okay everyone, I followed this tutorial to a T and got nothing (http://modmyi.com/forums/file-mods/...ted-data-iphone-has-not-been-backed-up-2.html). I really want to recover some old photos and videos that got deleted. I am now at a lost for what to do. I have followed everything the OP said plus tips from other commentators. Can someone tell me everything that should happen in Laymen's terms or post a video that does this? Thanks.

Btw, I have a Gen. 4 iPod Touch running iOS 6.0.1

if you did not restore your ipod touch yet, you can download iFunBox and browse to the camera roll directory and retrieve your photos and videos

is your device jailbroken?

I did and used that program, but it did nothing but show me the pictures already on my IPod. Any other advice?
