Can anyone truthfully explain this? (Iphone crashing in a loop)

Now the owner replaced it for another one, but wouldn't a restore solve this issue(he said he did it 3x, but could he have restored it improperly?)? Or is this is a hardware issue?

I ask because I can't restore (due to keeping my 4.01 jb, and no shsh blobs), and imo my iphone 4 has been acting slow/sluggish lately, and i've cleared cache in safari and other little fixes like turning off spotlight.

Had the exact same problem. Restoring did absolutely nothing. Had a bunch of other problems with it too. Ended up getting it exchanged.

So restoring is basically pointless? Is this supposed to happend to iphone 4's, idk, maybe I should go to a near at&t store and test them out. It acts like it needs a extra second sometimes to do a task, like a random slow glitchy movement or something, wish I could explain better lol.
