Can anything be done about these thin fonts?

It's drastic and I hate it. Any way to bring back subpixel font antialiasing?

In case anyone's wondering, I've found a solution. Enter the following into a terminal:

defaults write -g CGFontRenderingFontSmoothingDisabled -bool NO

Then log out and log back in. Fonts should look good again.
