can Apple older cinema charge MBA 2011?

Hey guys,

Can the older 27" cinema display charge the new 2011 Macbook airs? It charges my older MBP which has a different power adapter than the one that ships with the MBA. I wouldn't want to fry the new guy..

As the 27" LED display has a MagSafe adapter and the MBA has that too, the display can charge the MBA.
