I have a credit approval number, and a "tentative" account number & PIN from Sprint getting ready to claim them to buy the iPhone 5 from Apple on launch day.
Would Apple be able to use that credit check that Sprint already did for me? I mean I already have an account number and everything, so would the people at Apple be able to pull that right up? Would there be people from Sprint at the Apple store should I need any help buying the phone, and choosing a plan?
The guy at Sprint said that it would be best for me to buy it from a Sprint store, rather than Apple, however, I have friends who are going to wait in the line with me (we have fun every year or two doing this
), who are buying the iPhone 5 on various services. For me, I am getting it on Sprint because of unlimited LTE data.
I mean I could always go to a Sprint store later, but whats to say they don't run out of iPhones? The carrier stores seem to run out of iPhones faster than Apple.
I have had about 50 Credit Inquiries already for various non-iPhone related things, and I really don't want more inquiries to hurt me getting an iPhone 5 on Sprint!
