Can Apple retrieve the data from the SSD if MBP 16" 2019 has issues?

Hi, I think I read something about Apple not being able to retrieve the data from the previous generation of MBP with butterfly keyboard. How is the situation with the MBP 16" 2019?

Just remove ssd and stick it into an external case and connect...oh wait, that option expired years ago.

Yes, that is my worry. So MBP 16" suffers from the same limitation. Is the only way to avoid big impact is to backup daily?

I'd do that anyway. Make it part of your routine.
