Oops misread it. As long as its restored it should be hidden. But sometimesit shows. Once I put tmobile as my carrier logo. Restored it and it was still there.

Just put the phone into DFU mode, and then do a restore, and set it up as a new phone and there is no way they can tell. I've done it.
