Can ATT unlock the iPhone?

My aunt just finished her contract with her iPhone 4 and moved onto the Galaxy S4. She offered me the iPhone 4 for just 50 dollars so I'll gladly take it with the goal of getting it unlocked. I heard ATT can unlock the phone? How would I go about this?

AT&T can unlock it for free, you'll just need to have your aunt fill out some form. Or you can purchase an imei unlock, basically the same thing from www.swiftunlocks.com for $2 and save the AT&T hassle.
