Can Blackberry's view PDFs?

I have a client that gets his email on his Blackberry but every time I send him a PDF he says he can't read/open it.

I would of thought any half decent phone would be able to open a PDF these days, is that not the case?

Yes, they can. My ancient 8703e I use for work can open them just fine.

If memory serves me (and it generally doesn't ) I could view PDFs but I had trouble with office apps, unless I purchased an application.
