I know chronosync can sync on a timed schedule. What I'm asking is, can chronosync monitor two folders and if something changes in one automatically update the other?

Example: have chronosync monitor my documents folder and a documents folder on an external HD and if I drop a new file in either location it will automatically sync to the other.

Thanks

My understanding of Cronosync is, as stated above, "that's exactly what it does".

Also, you may want to look at DropBox. It's free (unless you need more space and even then is reasonably priced, iirc) and works well.

I believe the OP wants instantaneous & constant synchronization, which is not exactly what ChronoSync does.

However, I would challenge the OP to go to the source to find the answer to his question, rather than ask here without doing any research.
