Well, I received my iPhone 6 Plus last week and took it to my Verizon store to get it initially activated. Came home to finish setting the device, and in the process discovered what appeared to be a dead pixel in the middle of the screen, (a very white dot in the middle of a white screen). Took it back to my local Verizon store, and the CSR that helped me agreed that it was a dead or inactive pixel. He stated that they did not have replacements, and told me that he had anotated my account with customer notes, and had me call customer service, (who transferred me to their tech support), to order a replacement. Three weeks waiting time, not to mention that they are charging my Verizon account for the phone, and would later reimburse me when I ship the defective phone back.

But now this morning, in inspecting my phone, I'm finding that I can no longer locate this white pixel. Seems to have fixed itself, like it was previously stuck, and then got unstucked as I used it. Is this possible?

Yes it's possible, could of been a hot/stuck pixel that just managed to fix it self, at least you dont see it anymore

I did run several screen tests using online resources to detect dead pixels/hot pixels, and could not detect any other issues on my phone. The original issue seems to be gone. Thing about it, I could only detect this bright white pixel while viewing it on a white background. I could not detect this pixel issue with any other color. So, now I have to decide if I want to call Verizon and cancel the replacement.
