Can Dell Studio XPS 8000 be made into a Hackintosh?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know if the Dell Studio XPS 8000 is "hackintosh compatible".

The reason I'm going with this system is that I only have a budget of $1200 CND to spend but yet require a system that can do heavy Photoshop and Maya work. The current Mac lineup are either inadequate or priced out of my range.

I've decided to take advantage of a special Dell is offering for the XPS 8000 Studio which will be configured to included an intel Core™ i7-860, a Geforce GT220 and 8 GB of DDR3 RAM.

Will this work at all?

You will have better luck finding out about hackintosh by going to a site that's more focused on it such as insanelymac.
