Can EFI64 8800GT be flashed with EFI32 ROM

Just inherited a 2007 octocore Mac Pro that needs a GFX card upgrade. I have a large number of EFI64 Apple 8800GT cards. Has anyone successfully reflashed this card with the EFI32 ROM?

I've flashed an EVGA 8800GT with EFI32 to work in my Mac Pro 2006 and then reflashed that came card with EFI64 and had it working in my Early 2008 Mac Pro.

Doesn't directly answer your question as my card wasn't an Apple card to start with, but I have to believe you would have no problem.

If you have a large number, just try it.
