Can emojis be added in Text Replacement in Keyboard Shortcuts ?

Hi Guys,

Can I add an emoji in text replacement in keyboard shortcuts? I just saw a video where somebody was showing you can also add emoji in the keyboard shortcut for Text replacement is that correct? Can this be done? I tried doing it but it says cannot accept emoji?

It works fine.

I think Apple have worded this feature badly, and you might be entering the info backwards. I used to keep doing that!

Basically, put the emoji in the "Phrase" box and the text to be replaced in the "Shortcut" box.

When you say put the Emoji in the phrase Box do you mean like for e.g. for the Angry Emoji put the emoji icon or the word? How do I copy the emoji icon in the phrase box?

The actual emoji. You don't need to copy it, just select the emoji using the emoji keyboard as you usually would.
