What I'd like to be able to do is have my user loops so that they show up in their own subcategory in he loop browser. I was told that if I drag a folder of loops into the browser that they would show up in the loop browser under the folder name, but it didn't work.

The reason I need to do this is that some loops come with usage restrictions and if they get spread all over the place I won't be able to identify them.

I could make separate favourites folders and then search for all the indiviual loops by name but that doesn't seem like much fun.

There's an app called the Soundtrack Loop Utility, which used to be a free download from the developer section of the Apple site, it allows you to set the meta-data tags in loops that soundtrack (and therefore GB) use to sort the categories and also to enable the time/key automation of loops on the timeline.

Once you process your loops they'll search in GB like any Apple loop.
