Hi,
I have just bought the latest Mac Mini and I am having a bit of trouble with my USB memory stick.
I am trying to put movie files on the stick to then put into my TV to play the movie, however the files won’t play when I press play, they say invalid format.
This is the method I used when I had a Windows based set up and it worked fine.
I have tried formatting the stick to MS-DOS (FAT32) and still no luck.
When I open the USB in the TV menu the files show but they just won’t play (I should point out that the TV played the same file types without issue in the past).
Any ideas?
Cheers!

I was able to play .mp4 (or was it .mkv?) files on my Samsung TV by changing the file extension to ".avi".

Not sure what format the USB stick ended up as but I know that I tried changing that first, also.
