Can Google Chrome Do Gmail Offline? (Like FireFox?)

I received an email today from 1Password mentioning their Chrome extension is now available. Truthfully the only two things holding me back from changing my default browser (FF) are both being able to have my Gmail offline and to use the 1Password extension.

So here I am wondering at all if Chrome (or even Safari) do Gmail offline like how FireFox does.



I know, I know..look it up..but I just wanted to pop into the community this afternoon.
