Can HANDBREAK output VIDEO_TS??!!!??!!

I keep having problems with VIDEO_TS files not being able to be compressed by Toast. Someone told me to try ripping with HANDBREAK instead of MTR, but I don't see a option to set VIDEO_TS as the output. Any suggestions/help!?!?!

HandBrake isn't a "ripper" it is a converter. You have to use a program like RipIt or MacTheRipper to just rip the VIDEO_TS folder.

You don't need a ripper program to rip the Video_TS folder off a DVD. Just drag the folder onto your Desktop or something.

Do you want to compress DVD9 disc to DVD5?
Or you want to convert DVD into AVI or something?

Very, very few DVDs will be able to do this. You need a ripper to get past the content protection.
