Can I activate my new iPhone on a different computer than the one I want to sync?

I'm going to pre-order and get it sent to my office. I would love to be able to activate the phone on my office MAC, but ultimately I will want to sync the phone with my home MAC for music, movies, etc...Can this be done? Thanks!

Should be fine... I got my 3Gs activated in store (i was on holiday and didn't have my laptop) and then synced it with my laptop...
