I have an iPhone on a £35/month contract with O2 (UK).

Anyone know if it's possible to add a second handset onto the contract (i.e. still pay £35/month but share the free minutes etc. between the two handsets)?

Customer service and sales lines who might know the answer are only open 8am-8pm

Why would you wanna do that?

However, I think this would be illegal since it is a specific iPhone contract?!

Orange used to allow this about 5 years ago when I last was interested in mobile phone tariffs.

I don't think it can be illegal, although it could be impossible.

I'd like to do it as 600 mins and 500 texts for £35/month would be more than sufficient for my wife and myself combined if we could just add a second handset for £269 or whatever.
