I need a good quality webcam. It seems most better webcams have USB 2.0. My MacBook has USB 1.1 (Profiler says 12 MB/sec max). One site said adding USB 2.0 was possible but they were talking about PCs.

So, is it possible to add a USB 2.0 card to my late 2007 MacBook? ...or is it necessary? Will a good HD webcam work on USB 1.1? ...and what is the best webcam for a mac (must work on Skype)? I would use the built in iSight but need a zoom. ....I know, too many questions .....HELP

Can I add USB 2.0 to 2007 MacBook?

Nope. But your 2007 MacBook should have USB 2.0

I don't see ref. to USB 2.0 in Profiler. It does say max speed 12MB/sec and another source said that speed indicated USB 1.1 What am I not seeing? Will a HD webcam work with my MacBook?

Edit: According to everymac.com, even by MacBook (2,1) has 2 USB 2.0 ports. Part of me thought it was one 1.1 and one 2.0, but guess I was wrong.
