My MacBook Pro overheats (without this program on) and I am planning on reapplying thermal paste but until then I need this program.

So whenever I log in it shows this prompt which it needs to disable turbo boost:

So I have to type my password twice when I log in, is there a way I can just allow it to "make changes" without my password?

As the developer specifically mentions "enter the password only once" as an advantage to paying for the app, he may not provide support for that with the free version.
But, you might ask the developer, to find out if that is possible.

It may be something that the developer chooses to actively prevent, so you will purchase the app (helping support the app, and the developer)
I don't know the developer, but there are some that like to make money from their apps. If you want more features, then you get to purchase the app.

Or, this might push you to expedite re-doing the thermal compound - if you think that will help.
