My MacBook SSD is fry and I found that I need to replace the logic board because the SSD is weld into the logic board and is very expensive to replace it, I found some logic boards online but they are used and cost $400 dollars, I found a USB-C 3.1 Flash drive on amazon for around $30 I'm thinking to use it to boot the macBook from it but I don't know if this idea it going to work. please share comments if someone already is doing this, I wonder how fast or slow it can boot from the flash drive.. thank you...

Yes it will work.

You will need an adapter/hub with passthrough charging so that you can charge the MacBook while running off the Flash drive.

Something like a Samsung T3 or T5 would probably be quite a lot faster than a $30 flash drive, but cost more.
