I am not sure whether I can burn a dvd. I know I can burn a cd. When I go to About this Mac, and ask for more info, and under Hardware, Disc Burning, I get the following - can anyone shed any light. In the past I have been unable to burn a dvd, using Toast for example. But this implies I might be able to burn a dvd now. I have recently uprgraded to Panther. Could this be why it looks like I can now?

Thanks

You should have been able to burn a DVD before, and you still should be able to, unless something is corrupt somewhere in your system/hardware. That Sony burner is a bit of a bitch though.
