Is that option still available now? Now that the 3g 8gb has been lowered to $99. Can I still buy it and cancel it right after?

How much would it cost to do that?

thanks!

You can, but you will have to wait at least 30 days to cancel it, or you would have to return it. You would also have to pay the Early Termination Fee of $175.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8900: BlackBerry8900/4.6.1.101 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/301)

Refurb 8gbs are 79, which knocks the total down to a little under 350

This is pretty tricky. You could, as other people have said. But IMHO, I feel that an iPhone is extremely crippled without the use of the unlimited data plan. That's assuming you're doing this to get out of the data plan. If you're just doing this to get an iPhone, it's good. I'm not sure if it messes with your credit though. You should check into that. You might do better looking to buy one straight out or from ebay or something.

Why would the first month be $90.

Is it not $40 for the minutes, and then $30 for data.

That's $70.

activation fee is around $35
monthly taxes and "other fee's" are around $15-$20
so yea $40 + $30 + $35 +$20 = $125 for the first month

$125 + $99 + $175 = $399

As soon as my 3GS is in my hand, my current 3G is going out the door @ $200. Still locked to AT&T but couldn't anyone on AT&T just use it as a phone if they wanted to? Just no visual VM and no Internet except via WIFI.

Or are there other limitations I'm not thinking of?

Cheers,
