Can I buy a iPhone4 16GB and a iPhone 3GS 8GB from Rogers Please read the description

Ok so my uncle lives in Canada and the iPhone 4 on the Rogers site costs 159 Canadian dollars and the 8GB 3GS costs 99 dollars. So if I told him to get me the two phone is there a problem also when he gets me the phones does he still have to pay the monthly contract fees. I mean when I get them I wont use the sim cards they come with. So will he still pay every month for the plan?

Yes those prices are with a 3 year contract. If you terminate the contract I believe the total fee's for 3 years (data $100 and voice contract $400) is $500.
