Can I buy iPad 3, 3G in US, and use it in Europe?

My sister from the US wants to buy an iPad 3, 3G (not sure if it's called 3G or 4G !) on my birthday. I wonder if I can use my 3G sim card in Sweden?

You can cheaper to buy a local Swedish 3G sim tho

Thanks, I mean I already have a 3G subscription here (currently using USB dongle plugged into my laptop). Can I use it with the iPad which is bought from the US?

If your dongle has a regular SIM you will have to cut it into a micro SIM. Some ISPs have different plans for laptops and iPads, check with your provider.
