I have the MacBook Pro 13" aluminum model with the SD card slot. (2009 or 2010 model I believe). Anyway, I'd like get a new aluminum body put on it, since mine is pretty banged up. Anyone know if it's possible to buy it and have it installed?

there are online retailers that sell the top case all over the place, but make sure you get the right parts.

do note it is basically a complete transplantation of the internals since all the critical top case is mounted on the top case. the bottom case is just the plate covering and the display assmebly is separate. make sure you know what you're doing or you may potentially run the risk of bricking the computer.

It's probably not worth it. The one for my computer runs $300, your's will probably be similar. Also like the previous posted stated, it's basically transplanting everything. Here's a how-to, labelled Difficult by iFixit's standards.
