Can I buy online iphone in uk from apple store with no 02 contract ?

hi, i would like to buy an iphone from apple online store here in uk but i dont want to be with o2 contract as i already am with t-mob..so can i just buy it ? because when i am placing my order it actually allowes me to do so but i am afraid i will be asked later to to get o2 contract.

any advice appricated

You can buy it online or in an Apple store.

You sure can! Just buy online and when you get it home, install iTunes and then Ziphone (ziphone.org).

A simple:

ziphone -a -j -u

Will activate, jailbreak, and unlock it. Pop in the SIM of your choice and forget about the contract
