I live in a country where they don't use US qwerty, but I prefer that layout. I am planning to buy the new MBP as soon as it's available. I know you can choose your preferred keyboard layout online, but what about stores? Does anyone know if they have different layouts in-store?

I think its country specific, that is some countries do offer the US keyboard and others do not. Head over to your local computer store and see if they have them now (current gen), if so, then its reasonable to expect the new models to be offered with the US keyboard.

Thanks for the advice!

I've contacted my local store and they do seem to have different layout types, but it is unsure whether the new ones will have qwerty at the first day of release there. Might go and check it out then.

Again, that's really on apple typically rolls out these things. If your country is part of the initial wave, then I'd say yeah its probably a good chance.
