Instead of buying thru apple.com/uk, can I buy refurbished units from the store itself in London? This is because I want to get the VAT form. I am entitled to get the VAT refund. Anyone has this experience before?

Thank you! :D

If the policies of Apple U.K. are the same as in the U.S., no. In the U.S. stores are suppose to send all returns and store demos back to the Mothership. They are then inspected and cleaned up and sold on the online Apple Store Outlet.

A few years ago it was different and you could buy customer returns and old store demos at the U.S. B&M stores for 10% off list but they changed the policy.
