I'm going to be out of town when the iPhone 5s goes on sale Friday at 3:00 AM EST, and I'm concerned about the rumored supply constraints. Typically, can I buy it online and choose to have it go to the Apple Store for pickup rather than my house? I may not be home in time for the latter.

Can I buy the 5s online (Friday 3am EST) for pickup at the Apple Store?

Apple is not offering in-store pickup for the 5c, so I wouldn't expect them to offer it for the 5s.
Last year my friend and I camped out for the novelty of waiting for a launch of a new device, but I knew people that walked in at 5pm after work and even on Saturday and all got an iPhone 5.
Sunday was the only day they had a low supply or actually had a depleted inventory, this year we have an iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S so I am sure they will be enough options and inventory for everyone.
