Hello,

Do you guys know if there is a program that imitates a different serial number from my original serial number on iPhone?

I have just bought a tracfone and their sim only works in their crappy phone. So if I can imitate a serial of the crappy phone on my iPhone, the sim should work on iPhone.

,,, by the way; I tried to register tracfone's sim with iphone's serial number, but it said that iphone's serial is not in their database (of course)

Thank You for your help!

Here is what I found on another site. It seems like somebody was able to do what I am trying to; however that was a while back.

I remember someone doing this on StraightTalk. What you would have to do is buy a new phone with a new SIM card, but don't turn the phone on, instead take the SIM card out, and put it right in the iPhone (The SIM Card will now be locked to the iPhone instead, but that isn't a bad thing). And then go through the motions of activation.
