I ordered from store.:apple:.com. My order still hasn't shipped yet so I was wondering...if I called them and asked to switch it would they?

Since you last checked, likely due to the wasted time here, it may be too late since yours is now shipping. :eek:
 
It's sunday and it won't ship today. Just wanted to see if it was possible. And I think (think) that their CS is closed today.

Really, I didn't realize they got Sunday off in Apple's China sweatshops.
 
I tried to do exactly this with my pre-order a few weeks ago.

Basically, they can't just change the color for you. I had to have the order cancelled over the phone, but in my case, this didn't automatically reset my subsidy eligibility with AT&T. I had to spend a couple of days on the phone with AT&T and Apple, waiting for it to be resolved. Apple eventually was able to reset it, and I ordered a black one.

I ended up returning the 3GS 2 weeks later in favor of my 2G iPhone (saving my subsidy for a bigger update next year), but I digress.
 
I'm guessing you had a white 3G.

Yeah, switch it up with the Black 3G S this time.

I had a Black 3G, and I'm going White 3G S.

Not sure @ your question though.
