I'm still waiting to be shipped. Can I call apple and upgrade and pay the diff. for a 64 gig version? I know it'll most likely reset my wait as well....
Apple is closed till morning. Wondering if anyone here knows or has done it.
Thanks...

As long as the item has not shipped you can call up customer service (the number is on your order confirmation) and change your order. You credit card doesn't get charged until it ships so when the item ships, you will be charged the new amount.

As long as it has not been despatched from Apple's warehouse, you are entitled for an exchange or refund. You would nee dot call customer support, or click cancel order on your order confirmation page - that is if you placed an order online. Phone orders needs to be altered via customer support.

But he does not want to reset his position in the que to get one.

Call customer support and ask them, they most likley have the power to do so.

Yeah, doing it online could reset the queue position or delivery date, its best to contact via Phone saying to "upgrade" your order, not "cancel" it.

Apparently not.

If your going to quote me, quote then entire sentence troll....

If you would have looked and seen the time that I posted, you would have seen Apple phone lines we closed. I was hoping for some insight that maybe someone else had done what I was wanting to do.

And to answer the question, I wasn't able to do it.

I sent money to apple via wire transfer, and they would not upgrade my ipad with a credit card.

I agree, but no need to call someone a troll, besides I didn't even understand what that poster meant.

BTW, i never knew Apple accepts money transfer as a form of payment... well, at least not in the UK.

Well when one is called out to look dumb, I don't think the term "troll" is all that umm hurtful....

And Apple does accept money transfers in the UK as well...
