iPod Can I change track information for a song in Finder?

I've got a load of random tracks which I'd like to organise in to a new album in iTunes. At the moment these are tracks I've copied from my old PC, so they're just sitting in a folder and when I click on them, they go in to iTunes in no specific order as they're from different albums & artists.

Is there any way to change the tag information for album on multiple files through the Finder?

Not through the Finder. But I think if you create a new album in iTunes, and drag all the files from the Finder directly to that album, they will get imported & added to that album at the same time. I know it works in iPhoto so hopefully iTunes is the same way.
