Hi there,
In Mail on my MacBook Pro, in my Inbox (which is where I want to be, and stay if possible) if I want to check to see how I replied to someone, all I have to do is click on the little curving arrow to the left of the message (in the message column), and up comes my reply.
In Mail on my iPhone 12, clicking on this little arrow next to a message in the Inbox doesn't accomplish anything.
Is there another 'shortcut' or swipe or perhaps some sort of an imploring expression or an angry glare (I'm new to this iOS and this phone, having just come from an iPhone 5S so a lot of this is new to me) that I can use to see a reply? (without having to get out of the Inbox and open my Sent mailbox?
Thanks for any advice,
malch

In Settings > Mail, under the threading heading turn on:
1. Organise by Thread
2. Complete Threads

Is this what you mean? (If you turn on Most Recent Message on Top, that will put the reply at the top.)

That does work. Some of these threads, and the messages themselves, are long, so what I see is a long list of messages in a very very small font.... but it does put my latest reply on top. So thank you.
If there were another way, to just click on the little reply arrow, or to set up my swipe to bring up my reply (and just my reply) to the message in question, that would be even better!
