I backed up my macbook then I reinstalled SL to fix an issue I was having.

Instead of migrating everything back, I want to just back iPhoto and iTunes and some docs, can I do this and if so how? I backed it up using OWC Mercury Elite-Al Pro.

You should just be able to copy the folder containing the iPhoto library from your backup.

For iTunes, you have two options. You can re-import your music. Or you can copy the entire iTunes folder over the existing one.

I'm assuming that you are using the same username as you were in your previous install.

User name? You mean the name I gave the computer? No, I did change it. If you mean the iTunes user name and password? that's still the same.
