so i know it sounds like a stupid problem but just hear me out...

i have a 1gh g4 tower(os 10.4), an airport extreme base station(802.11g), and two airport expressesesess.

i'm trying to connect to an existing wireless network in my apartment building, but i don't have an airport card in my computer.
my comp requires the old school airport card and i just feel that there has to be some easier way with all of this hardware i have!
am i crazy for trying, or is this workable?

thanks in advanced!

gregory

Connect one of the Airport Expresses to the tower via ethernet and use it as a bridge onto the WiFi network (I assume Expresses support this operation mode). This will probably prevent you using it for Airtunes etc...

Edit to add: yes, it does support this

not to sound like a jerk but you may want to just purchase your own internet for your apartment and secure it so no one tries connecting to it and taking your internet that you pay for.

Just a thought :)
