Can I Convert An Animated GIF To PNG?

And if so how, I have googled,and seen the conversion to flv, and swf, but how can I convert an animated gif to png. I tried importing into GIMP and exporting as PNG, but that didn't seem to work, only got one image.

You can't have animated PNGs afaik, that's why it came out as only one picture.

Yes you can, but of course it will come out as one image, there is not such a thing as animated PNG.

Thanks I downloaded an animated wallpaper and was under the assumption it was a PNG, just navigated to the folder on my phone and saw it was an MP4.
