For me, Calendar is great for viewing events, but a little awkward and time consuming when creating them, especially when the event is ied to more than one app (eg. Calendar and Reminders), as is often the case..
I've noticed some apps (eg. Evernote) allow you to create a Calendar event from within the app, and I am wondering if I can do this from within the Reminders app.
Essentially, I would like the ability to create Calendar events from within the information menu in Reminders (eg. below the Remind me on a day option in Details).
For example, let's say I need to call John. Normally, I would add the time and date in Reminders to do so, call John and then switch over to Calendar to add the event (which I do for business time tracking purposes).
I think it would be a lot easier if I could simply: add the time and date in Reminders to call John, go to the information menu in Reminders (i.e. tap the little i icon) and from there create an event that would be added to Calendar; the title of the Reminder would be the title of the Calendar event, and I would also be able to add the type of event being created, the date and time of the event, it's location, notes and other information.
Does anyone know if this can be done? If so, how?
I think it's a nifty little feature that, if not currently available, Apple should make available. I also think it's a feature that could streamline the creation of Reminders and Calendar events. Is Apple open to these types of suggestions?
