Hey everybody, I'm a new poster, but a longtime reader of these forums. I own a 12" Powerbook G4 that I bought used in January 2005. I've been looking at ways to make space on my hard drive and have discovered a folder called "previous systems" that has a folder for "previous system 1" loaded with nearly 5 GB of stuff that I'm pretty sure I don't need. Is it safe to just trash this whole thing or am I getting ahead of myself?

I would check to be sure there is nothing in the "Library" and "Preferences" that goes with your installed software. Other than that, it can be deleted to free up the space in most cases.
