Can I delete twitter/facebook/flickr/vimeo from mail/safari/etc

There are some features I do not like/want/etc.

Safari, when doing searches puts up ESPN (never been there), Disney (same), and more icons. Can that be disabled?

Same goes when mailing items, like pictures, I get a bunch of choices I will never use.

Got the icons out of safari, now just trying to nuke mail
