Can I disable the contact name appended with the Email address

Hi guys,

When I use the MAC Email client, it alway auto append the name in my contact app with the Email address, such as

To:
Tommy <tommy@abc.com>

"Tommy" is the name in my contact app, whose Email address is also record in my contact app.

However, I want to send the Email to Tommy only by tommy@abc.com, basically I don't want the recipient to see "Tommy", how can I do it?
