There are two things I would like to do that I am wondering if can be done with Soundtrack Pro:
1) Whenever video is retimed in FCP it always lowers or raises the pitch of the audio (I guess in an effort to mimic what happens when you slow down or speed up analogue audio). I have not retimed video in Motion, but I assume it does the same thing. First, is there a way to retime video in FCP or Motion so that the pitch of the dialogue does not change, and it just gets faster or slower? If no, is there an easy way to change the pitch back to normal in Soundtrack Pro?
2) Can I add markers to a timeline in Soundtrack Pro based on, say a piano player hitting a certain key, and thin import the markers back into FCP?
Thanks,
Chris
