I have a 2gb nano that I bought when I used my old PC, and recently bought an iMac. When I connected the nano to the mac the first time it asked me to restore it and it was formatted.

Now I want to use the ipod as a hard drive to transfer some documents & photos I had in the PC to the mac. However, when I plug the ipod to the pc, It says I have to format it for windows.

So basically my question is: is there any way that I can transfer that data from pc to mac using my ipod nano as a hard drive?

Thank you

format it with your PC.

Yeah, a PC-formatted iPod will work perfectly with both Macs and PCs however any firmware updates from Apple will need to be installed from a PC. :)
