I have a home page that I want to put onto Mobile Me (e.g. web.me.com/(myusername) ), I was wonder how do I do that?

The support on the Apple site was less than clear....

Any info would be great. :apple:

I'm still trying to figure out all of this as well.

Apparently iWeb is what syncs everything onto your MM website, but are you asking if you can use your own HTML? Because that's what I'm trying to figure out right now as well. If I can do that, then I will setup my personal domain on there.

From the MobileMe support page:

MobileMe iDisk Help: About your iWeb site's address

Websites you create in iWeb are available at:

http://web.me.com/YourMemberName/iWeb/SiteName

If you have previously published webpages using HomePage, those pages are still available at:

http://homepage.me.com/YourMemberName

On your iDisk, your iWeb sites are stored in the Sites folder inside the Web folder (Web/Sites). Your HomePage sites are stored in the Sites folder.

So, if you want to publish any html files, put them in your iDisk in the folder "Web\Sites" and it will be viewable at "http://web.me.com/username"

Cool, thanks for that.

I think why it wasn't working only homepage.mac.com/Username is working, the web.me.com does work at all.... Either way I now have my sites up.

the homepage.mac.com works, the web.me.com doesn't... but at least one is working, so I guess that's good

I was happy to see this thread because I was wondering the same thing. I was able to use the following:

For http://web.me.com/username, files go in iDisk\Web\Sites

UPDATE:

However, I did have to add a file name to the end ...../username/filename.htm - not sure what the default is. Could be index.html or default.html but did not spend that much time.

The default is: index.html
