I have the blobs, I just want to do an OTA and see how the 7 works and if I don't like, downgrade back to 6.1.3, I also have itunes 11.0.5

No you can't downgrade because iOS 6.1 is no longer being signed by Apple.

Nope, you're phone will never be able to run anything lower than iOS 7 again, unless the dev team comes up with a way (which is unlikely)

2,405 threads say no.

Guys, this is possible on an iPhone 4 (just not any device newer than that).

OP, yes you can. You're best bet on all the instructions is to browse and ask around in the Jailbreaks and Hacks subforum.

FWIW I'm on a 4 and iOS 7 is working fine. Love some things, hate others but cant see the point in going back, will jailbreak if its available though, in order to rectify a few annoyances.

I have an iPhone 4 and the saved the 6.1.3 blobs before upgrading and was unable to downgrade using redsnow or tinyumbrella. I tried it with iTunes 10.07 and 11.05 but to no avail.

Some say a downgrade is possible using ifaith and snowbreeze, which requires Windows. See the following thread for details: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1646395/

But what should be clear is that a downgrade isn't easy and may not work at all. I've decided to instead wait and see if Apple allows us to turn off animations in a future update.

TinyUmbrella cannot perform a downgrade.
Redsn0w can perform a downgrade to 6.0 or older firmware (nothing beyond 6.0 firmware)
Sn0wbreeze can downgrade to any iOS6 version.

All this requires saved SHSH with complete APTicket.

I tried ios 7, didn't like it, pure crap.Anyway, I downgraded back to 6.0.1 with custom ipsw made with ifaith and I installed itunes 10.7 and everything worked just fine. To use itunes 10.7 you need to uninstall itunes 11 and remove are just move the "itunes" folder in the "Music" folder in C partition than install itunes 10.7.
